Foot Crampbusters
Instructions
Purpose
To inhibit spasticity, cramp or rigidity in the lower limbs.
Instructions
- Place the crampbuster onto the foot by placing the larger loop over the second toe, and the smaller loop over the fourth toe so the straps lie across the top of the foot .
- Wrap the strap around the back of the ankle and fasten to the smaller strap by securing the velcro to the velour as shown.
- The illustration shows the crampbuster in place.
- The crampbuster does not need to be fastened tightly. You should have it loose enough to be able to slide three fingers under the strap at the join. It should be snug but not tight! They should not make a red mark on the skin, this would be an indication that they were too tight
- If necessary the longer strap may be trimmed to prevent the excess being an inconvenience.
- The enclosed pieces of looped velcro can be stitched into place after a few days when you are sure no further adjustment is required.
- Warm hand wash regularly. Do not wring or tumble dry.
Caution : Do not use if skin on the foot is broken, or if the foot is swollen.
